Nutrition and weight
The feeding calculator is a starting estimate for healthy adult maintenance at an appropriate body condition. It is not a weight-loss prescription or a feeding plan for kittens, pregnancy, lactation or illness. A weight trend cannot establish an ideal weight or explain why a change occurred.
Age and pregnancy
Human-age comparisons are analogies, not lifespan predictions. A due-date estimate cannot confirm pregnancy or tell you when intervention is needed. Do not delay veterinary attention because a calculated date has not arrived.
Urgent concerns
If you think your cat needs urgent care, contact a veterinarian or local veterinary emergency service directly. This website is not a monitored medical service.
