Sources and calculations
Health-related tools link to the sources used for their assumptions, such as AAHA, veterinary educational resources and Cats Protection. Source links support specific methods, not an endorsement of this website. Where sources differ, a tool states its chosen assumption rather than implying certainty.
Checks and limitations
We check representative calculation examples, input limits and language navigation when changing tools. Technical checks are not clinical validation. This initial edition was prepared with AI assistance and does not claim veterinary review, authorship by a veterinarian, or professional accreditation.
Corrections and updates
Report a suspected calculation or translation error through the Contact page. Include the tool, input values and expected result without identifying information. A correction should update both language versions and any affected formula explanation. Policy pages show an effective date when materially revised.
